Celebrate the New Year with Japanese traditional games such as Fukuwarai, Sugoroku, Karuta, and Hagoita organized by Maraya Art Centre and the UAE Japan Cultural Centre. There will also be other fun activities ongoing throughout the morning: Kakizome–Japanese Calligraphy writing out your wish for 2015 Chirashi-zushi –Taste Japanese Cuisine tradionally made for New Year celebrations Japanese Trivia Quiz—The most knowledgeable team will take home special Japanese gifts Soroban - Japanese Abacus calculation class Japanese Tea Ceremony A Karate team demonstaration by "National Centre for Karate & Judo in Sharjah.
