Participants will learn the skillful art of calligraphy, its different styles and uses. Experiment with a variety mediums such as watercolor and acrylic to create your own masterpieces abstracting the Arabic alphabet into works of art.
They will learn about the proportions of each alphabet and how to design it on a canvas, as well as transferring techniques and how to work on their background and creating textures with different mediums.
Calligraphy can be a unique source of art for interior decoration and participants are welcomed to bring an object from home which they would like to decorate on.
