Sculpting with wire is exciting: it’s similar to drawing, but using all three dimensions.

In the wire sculpture workshop for children, participants will be introduced to many different types of wire whilst learning the fascinating art of wire manipulation. Each individual will be shown how to create their very own small wire figure or animal sculpture of their choice - be it a sheep, a fish or a bird - their imagination is the limit!

Wire sculpture is a thrilling and expressive art form. Young artists can learn how to sketch their own designs, bind wire, choosing which wire to use for different effects and how to add mixed media into the fray.

In this workshop participants will receive step-by-step instructions to successfully create their fun projects using a vast array of materials such as wires, fabrics, glue, paper and wood.
