About Mansour Al Heera

Mansour Al-Heera is an Emirati interdisciplinary artist based in Abu Dhabi. Mansour attended and graduated from California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco, in which he was enrolled in the Film program and the Visual Studies program.

Al-Heera is a film artist, film theorist, screenwriter, painter, and designer. Although he describes his line of work as a person who simply creates things. Mansour has found interest in sharing experiences rather than stories, as to why most of his film pieces take shape as interactive and immersive installations.

Mansour also has an interest in examing film and visual culture from a philosophical prespecitve. Moreover, he creates experiments intended to examine the experience of the viewer, and to help understand the boundaries of contemporary film and its possibilities for newness.
